Taxes Kill Your Profit; Don’t Pay Them.

Yes, it’s totally a controversial title so that you’ll read this but it’s true.  Taxes kill your mojo, and my mojo is made of profits.

So why not make someone else pay them?  Well, if you’re a common property owner you’re right about now thinking “that’s not possible”; you’re wrong.  So how do you make someone else pay your taxes?  Easy, rent them something they want.

Example:

I own a property with an old small single garage.  You couldn’t park a truck in there if you had to.  And whatever you did park in there, you’re only opening one door because it’s only 12′ wide.  But, it’s bigger than most storage spaces that are avaiable with a concrete floor, and it has a slightly bigger door too.  It rents for $125/month currently to a great tenant and has had 0% vacancy for the last 3 years!  My taxes on that property are $1,586 per year, that garage tenant covers all but $86 of my taxes!

Detached garages are a gold mine and a great way to maximize profits (mojo).  And, as an added bonus, stored couches make way less noise than a Firebird with glass packs on it.  Go crank your mojo and get creative with your investment.
